In this engaging professional learning session, participants will discover how to use Scratch for storytelling with students in grades 3-8. The session starts with an introduction to Scratch, a visual programming language that enhances creativity and logical thinking. Participants will learn to animate characters, integrate dialogue, and construct storylines, enabling students to retell familiar tales or create new endings. This session equips participants with the skills to guide students in storytelling, enhancing their narrative and computational abilities, and engage in culturally sustaining storytelling.
