Library Camp 2024 has ended
Thursday August 29, 2024 12:55pm - 1:50pm PDT
Genrefication has been a school library buzz word for a few years now, but in practice, it's been around a lot longer, and not just in libraries. This session will describe what it is, the pros and cons, and how to do it and will also offer examples of genrefying on a smaller scale in elementary school libraries. Attendees will leave knowing not only how to genrefy their collections but also what questions to ask themselves to decide if it's right for their users.
