Library Camp 2024 has ended
Wednesday August 28, 2024 11:15am - 12:10pm PDT
COMPASS from the California State Library provides supplemental resources to all K-12 public school students and educators, both in the classroom and at home. These library resources have expanded over the years to include multimedia, online tools, streaming video, digital books, and interactive programming, in addition to research and educational content. Inquiry and research require vetted resources designed to meet the needs of K-12 students. And the State Library's COMPASS program was established to give ALL students the tools they need to research and explore on their own. COMPASS staff will provide an overview of resources from Britannica, ProQuest, Alexander Street, Gale and TeachingBooks with a lens toward inquiry and research in social studies, environmental literacy, ELA, and Ethnic Studies. Let’s exchange ideas about how these resources can support you and your students!
