Elizabeth Franco, MSW, PPSC is a former classroom teacher and school social worker. She first started writing grants to fund her position as a School Social Worker. She currently serves as the Manager of Grants and Partnerships in the Office of the Superintendent at the Santa Clara County Office of Education. In this role she supports the development of federal, state, local and foundation grants to secure funding, expand collaborative partnerships, and implement innovative projects that promote sustainable and positive impact on youth. Prior to working for the Santa Clara County Office of Education she worked for the YMCA of Silicon Valley’s Project Cornerstone Program as the Director of Development. The Project Cornerstone Program fosters Social and Emotional Learning through children’s books in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese in schools across Silicon Valley.
